Just a general question really, most Mobos have a quite strong stantion rails made out of stainless steel, plus they have bow thrusters (some have stern thrusters as well) and the bigger underwater light type have twin engines making them very manouvarable at close quarters. I was asked if a yacht was attempting a Med style mooring, either bow or stern to, would it be acceptable for the yacht to throw a big home made grapnel over the Mobos stantion to assist with mooring, ie to pull himself alongside the Mobo whilst he adjusted his lines, or could it be frowned upon?
