I use same method as Suncoast, always put stern ropes on first & hang a ball fender over stern to stop drifting into pontoon while you walk up front with lazy line. nice & slow is the name of the game. If you are in the same mooring all the time splice eyes in the ropes so they are the correct length, then you havent got to mess about every time you come in.If you bung the marineros a couple of euros every time you come in they will break their neck to get round to help you & do all your ropes for you.....Nat
