They fly the flag when it’s in use .
Also a lot of black suited guys with curly wires behind there ears on shore stare at you if come close .
Further more a helicopter, some sort of French rubbish Blackhawk copy keeps passing by in the bay .
Anyhow there is nice beach restaurant just to the L of my pic .

Bouba have you been round to Le Lavandou yet ?
After Macron drum it’s just round the next cap , Cap Bennet .
It s where I did my practicle for the Fr Permit d Mer test .
Amongst other stuff I had to parallel park the test boat within 10 cm of the berth I am on in the pics ^^ , with out touching it .
Smack it and it’s fail .Required delicate throttle + steering inputs .Bit like the old fashioned reversing round the corner - touch the curb and that it - fail !
Luckily for me the examiners mum was a French teacher in Harrogate , where he was brought up so he spoke perfect eng with a sight Yorkshire accent .We got on like a house on fire and I passed got my ticket 2002 ish irc ?

I’ve been to Le Lavandou too many times to count, by boat by bicycle by car. I also did my Permis Côtier there. The beach just past it, plage de St Claire is one of our favorites. We’ve walked the coastal footpath many a time.

For the benefit of those unfamiliar, the anchor light points @ Cap Bennet and to the L of that is Porqurolle island just visible .
Folks might start to realise why I,am not into electronic nav aids etc ….I just look at the back of my hand ?.
