Correct. But the new entry rules apply to all of Spain. Coming back to the U.K. is quite a different matter.
I just got back from Greece last night. Had a fabulous time. People really grateful to see you down there. The islands - Ionians - all seemed vaccinated down to 18. These guys rely on us to get down there for their livelihoods and have gone out of their way to make it easy for us to get there and be safe. Frankly the UK policy is economic warfare of the worst kind against people who need us. Anyway I cannot see Greece, Spain etc going along with Germany unless Germany pays them our lost tourists. Moreover the threat that German tourists wont be allowed to countries that accepts Brits seems like a bluff to me as even the Germans will riot against Angie telling them they cannot go. The fact that good old Boris is going to try to persuade Angie to stop this is also laughable. The idiot should announce an end to quarantine for vaccinated people returning to the UK from Amber countries. That will end the debate once and for all. PS it is absolutely wonderful to get back and not have to see that moron Hancock moralize to us. Small mercies….I may even subscribe to the Sun!

My work is coming along. I bought and test fitted all my anodes, I put bigger ones on, you never know if the next lockdown is going to leave my boat in the water. I’ve filled all blemishes on the hull but I’m going to leave the painting to the guys at the yard. I have used up all my potential energy ?.
A few other jobs still to do and she’ll be back in the water.

Annoyingly we were due to get out isolation tomorrow (test to release) but just a had a call that someone on our flight back to uk has covid so now we are stuck in isolation until July 4th. The lottery of travelling....
Wonder which variant?

Is that spectacular boat yours? And yes, the water looks perfect ??
It is indeed. Quite a big journey from S Italy involving a 28 hour passage and this was our landing spot on the bottom of Kefalonia. Very few boats around and long may it last. Sadly now back in the UK getting called every day but definitely worth it :)

Yachts like to park close so they can complain about your generator

Always seems to happen with me-nice open bay with plenty of space, and some tw@t comes and anchors right on top of you……safety in numbers perhaps?? I’ve never quite understood it!

Just a word of warning. We flew from Heathrow on Tuesday morning and it wasn’t fun! Bag drop on business was 40 minutes, security was another 35 minutes. It seemed that there was no where near enough staff even for the small numbers flying!
also people looked like they had “forgotten “ how to fly! Leaving laptops and liquids in bags etc and not emptying pockets, arriving with cases over the weight limit and so on. Make sure you leave enough time.

left early for Heathrow. Security took 3 minutes! And no issues on m25. Palma arrived in terminal C (which has never happened before), think terminal A is shut.Probably walked nearly a mile to eventually get out of the airport. Passport check then covid qr code. All in all not too bad. Prep trip for august.Even better boat is all fine except broken beer fridge and broken dyson.

A broken beer fridge can only mean one thing, those Menai Strait pirates are venturing abroad ?

Might just need it’s electrical connections cleaning or a light tap on the compressor .
Unplug your shore power to prevent a mix up re 24 / 12 v and 220:v while fiddling with it .Let it think you are @ anchor .
Twiddle its switch / control .
Don’t hang your hat on the door light as a blown bulb it will be off but the fridge compressor still run if it’s ok .
