I know a friendly doctor who, for the right amount of Rosé will give you a nice letter. There might still be one fly in the ointment. What kind of proof of vaccination are the French going to demand?
Also on my Empuriabrava (Costa Brava) Facebook community, the French are saying no pcr tests required between France and Spain from June 9th
Not wanting to appear thick here but which nhs app and where is the proof shown you have had the jabs. .... cheers.Certificate or not - the NHS app DOES prove if you have had the jabs.
If the government doesn't like it - tough - it IS actual proof.
Currently, the QR code printout shows an expiry date but it would be difficult for someone to disprove your medical history inside the NHS app.
From a legal perspective, this isn't lying - it is FACT.
On android its just called NHS app.Not wanting to appear thick here but which nhs app and where is the proof shown you have had the jabs. .... cheers.
In the pub last week.
Manager refused entry to a young couple with no masks.
Rules of pub. No Mask or No physical Lanyard...Digital phone pictures not accepted ............ No service.
Customer, a rather strapping young man dressed in a style more suited to a beach in Ibiza, did his best to bully and verbally threaten the manager into serving him.
Customer accusations of discrimination and claims that he had a digital lanyard of his iphone were ignored.
Spoke to manager afterwards to congratulate him on remaining so calm and collected.
He said that forged and fake proof of exception and Covid innoculation are freely available and that people working in the leisure industry are aware of this.
It is a bit strange. Refusing to serve something that requires one to remove their mask, because they are not wearing a mask?Sounds like the manager needs to read the government guidance as people are not required to provide evidence of thier exemption from being required to wear a face covering.
Whether or not he really qualified is a different matter but at least one company subsequent agreed to shell out 6k for refusing to serve someone who was exempt
Yes - it is as julians says. Not wanting to appear thick here but which nhs app and where is the proof shown you have had the jabs. .... cheers.
Yes - it is as julians says.
It is a mobile app that you download.
Once running and after going through some sophisticated security, it allows you to access your NHS records.
The Covid vaccinations are just one of the items on there.
Records of all your treatments are displayed.
My point was that even if this in't accepted as proof, it IS an actual official statement that you have had the jabs.
The only way that our government can stop this being used as proof would be to remove the vaccination from millions of patient records and that would be really obtuse.
Correct. It actually now throws up a Covid Passport. Almost certainly the French and others will accept this. Even the French are unlikely to go through the motions of allowing vaccinated people in but not accepting proof via a government app. Frankly passports can be faked and at the end of the day anyone who really really wants to start faking things is going to do so for whatever it is. The vast majority of people will be showing non faked proof.Yes - it is as julians says.

The way to interpret it is from now to look back at the last 180 days and see how many days you have “used up” out of your 90 daysCovid aside, can I go to France, prepare the boat for a week and return to the UK. Then go out again a couple of weeks later to holiday and return the boat to the UK? My understanding is that this is OK if I don't stay more that 90 days overall in any 180 days?
We were there 10 days ago but couldn’t sadly find a harp player to serenade us from the front of the boat! It’s going to be a great season guys.......no crowds, no busy anchorages, easy to get in to restaurants......just need the flights to work!!!Appetite teaser from Italy . Patience guys patience the EU are catching up .
