This adequately describes @LBRodders and @Mr Googler who despite having boats have refused to take them off their trailers while the great weather of Spring whittles away. We are thinking of loading the cannon and lobbing a Black Ball each their way.

Anyway, plenty of jobs on to make sure we are in best nick possible before launch. Evenings [and the water] are still too cold to mince about on the boat. End of next month and we will be in the game

I am a non wetsuit type of guy, too much faff. I am brave / stoopid - but not that much

A tube ring, not actually designed for the task but it worked. Ordered a wing off Amazon. If that goes well will get a few other gubbins.

This inflatable was all the rage on this forum about 15 years ago.

It got banned from sale.
I bought one but had to give it away - too dangerous.
Insurance companies don't like inflatables that fly!!!

Got loads of space for it and more. Dont worry. Why do you think we tolerate Roy and his QE2 in tight anchorages. Ya, the booze as well. But....

Be careful, it can lead to the need for a bigger tender.

This was ours being towed by the old Walker Bay tender with its 40Hp
The comment from our kids at the time was - Dad we're going to need a BIGGER BOAT!!

Isn't that always the way though. That does look like great fun. At the moment they'll have to settle with what I can provide. This year a small sailing dinghy and a dink that can passably tow a few small toys. As they progress through their teens we will have to look at something more demanding for them. The boy wants to try his hand at wakeboarding. Luckily our estuary has a lagoon that's suitable for that now the Menai is off limits.

Let’s get back to thread....as in we Med boaters will get to see our boats AND swim and be towed without wet suits . Plus we will see the sand beneath us....
