Med boaters - will you get to your boat this year?

Only?
That's just about 145 and 495 above my liking, respectively...!
Having also been at Forty-Twos marina ( La Napoule CdA ) for 15 years and spent a lot of time all over the Lerin islands which are the local go to place , it was a culture shock in terms of piece + quiet cruising Liguria.
How ever we have adjusted now , took a while , and I get where you are coming from .
Shock horror we have to share with one more .

@Forty - Two …..Pizza ranges from €4 for a margarita to max £10 for the most expensive, that’s with lobster tails , amongst other sea food .A pint of proseco ( yes 500 ml not a glass ) from a cold draught pump is €6 .

Obviously this level of boat density knocks any thought of “ stabs “ into the long grass as well .
Its never as windy as well TBH shallow V boats will be ok here , better than the windy CdA .

It was nice to have experienced the CdA in the beginning of my Mo Bo ing .
About 3 hrs back to Lerins so not far way .

It's a big anchorage, you might approve of the Pizza boat & Coctails boat though ????
Yup, I'm familiar with it.
And I'm aware that in your pics the place is actually quiet, when compared to some occasions in the peak of the season when you can actually go from one island to the other walking on boats...

I half recall also a topless lady selling ice creams, who used to be the main reason for going there.
Since you only mention pizza and cocktails, either she must have retired on a superyacht or she diversified the business, I suppose...?

Alassio has everything shopping wise similar to St Tropez but with out the crowds .

Itama barche
You will approach from the other side and when you get there usually a mixed bag of boats .Tend to anchor on the sheltered side .
Marked on a charts etc ;) .

I’m trying very hard to get to the Med.
A month ago we set out and my wife was poorly in France so turned around.
This time we have got as far as Orleans and a hail storm has smashed the car screen.
Awaiting now the AA Indian call centre promise of 90 mins
Hey ho!
I thought you could always get windscreens replaced in hours. Everyone is quoting more than a week assuming they can get the windscreen which seems to be in doubt.
Turning around once again and back to UK.
Humbug!

So we motored leisurely over to St Tropez marina and radio in for any availability of a mooring for a quick stopover and yes all fine come into marina and take a spot on the port jetty , and then we watched the amazing exit two down from us of this Beauty Resilience….we felt like a fender?F3EEE8C4-CB89-49E3-BB74-588A8E0D7033.jpeg

Ok you guys....I know that amongst some of you there is a little hostility towards lord JCB...this may make you chuckle...some relatives of ours were visiting his very posh beach restaurant yesterday....and one of them ordered the sardines...
