Md11,Anybody know where I can find

Hi all, can anybody please help me, or direct me where they think that i might be able to find a control panel for,and Poss a factory wiring loom for a md11, as the engine has no wiring at all on it, or am I right in thinking that it should just be a case of making up a 'loom' from the correct colour coded wire, from the engine to the alt,start key,oil and water temp gauges, or is the 'loom' factory only? as i already have these gauges fitted to the boat but not on a panel.

If you cannot get a panel and loom then there is absolutely no reason why you should not make your own and utilise the gauges etc that you already have. There is a wiring diagram in the Operators manual that give all the "correct " colour codes. It probably does not say the correct thickness of wires to use so you may have to work that out for youself.

If you do not have a manual you can down load one from Operators manual

If you download the workshop manual from here, you'll find a wiring diagram which includes wire sizes and colours.

The wire sizes are in fact in the Operators Manual.
However thanks for the link to the Workshop manual. I did not think they were available online any more
