This argument has been raised before and for good reason. We even had TWO threads about VAT running at the same time as this week's spot the boat but even that failed to distract!

Maybe we could start a thread about the necessity for scatter cushions as part of a boat's decor next Friday morning, in order to give everyone else a chance.

He needs a good long thread on designing something really esoteric like a holding tank anti-siphon loop to get him completely engrossed. If we all arrange to bombard him with irritating questions and then you slip in the Spot the Boat thread whilst he's not looking, we might have a chance but it will need detailed planning and pinpoint execution
