Why are the girlies wearing skimpy bikinis whilst the men folk are all wrapped up in full waterproofs, thermal hats and lifejackets? Are the men just sissies or are the women just being touch to look good?

Also can't the women readers of this publication occasionaly be treated to scantily clad men posing on the boats. Surely there must be some Adonises out there willing to brave the cold and give the ladies a treat?

I agree Joanne, the women should be more scantily clad.

As a technical answer, they're different photoshoots. The oilskins are MBY's actual test, the girls are brochure shots. It's not even the same boat, the girly boat has dark grey cleat thing on stbd bow (p37) whereas on the oilskin boat it's white (p36)

Likewise, see p45. The top right pic is fairline brochure, no plotter. The centre pic is real test shot, raytheon plotter. Likewise the cabin trim, grey in main cabin is actual test boat, blue in twin cabin is failine stock photo, so diffrent boat.

Basically Tom is ripping us off. He should be taking all the photos specially for the magazine, not using second hand ones, and he should organise scantily clad bodies, in hot places. Or use photoshop
