I must congratulate MBM for their new look magazine,it's great. At last they have seen the light, and not filled it with boating for the super rich, well done it makes for very interesting reading.I am rather surprised at the small number of people agreeing with my post.I think it's the biggest ever change in magazine, good luck to them

Reading it today and thought it reminded me of the editions from the 1990's, which I remember featured more 'normal' boats that most people are running. So interested to read this thread and agree.

It makes good bath-time reading, which is what is needed in the electronic age.
It shouldn't be competing with a website, and it doesn't.

Apparently the new editorial direction is to stop chasing MBY and to get back to practical motor boating/cruising that is relevant to 'ordinary boaters' (if there is such a thing). This approach is why I originally subscribed to MBM instead of MBY back in the day so it is nice to see a return to its roots :) :) :)
