N°1 child mobile phone pics.

Aside: any-one eaten at the Ramsholt Arms lately?
What did you think?

Do they use a flavour extractor? Or is there really such bland food?
I can microwave better (and cheaper) food, and I would remember to defrost is properly. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Re: No BBQ

Good to see you.

Good photos from a mobile phone.

Sorry you did not enjoy you meal.
We had a meal at the Ramsholt Arms as well on Saturday.
We enjoyed it.
The had the pate & Fishcake starters and Ham & Eggs, and Bass main course.
The Adnams and the local cyder also slipped down well.

Re: No BBQ

Glad to hear you enjoyed your meal.

My ham, egg & chips was OK - I mean, how can you [--word removed--] that up?
So were Yanni's chicken nuggets - same again.

The wife's "shrimp & salmon salad" was not fit for human consumption.
Mushy shrimp and still half frozen salmon.
The eldest's chili - same story. The only thing that tasted like anything were the nachos. Rice still "crunchy".

You know you're not in for "haute cuisine" when your food arrives within 4 minutes of ordering. I was still at the bar waiting for the drinks.

Hadn't eaten there before - won't do it again.

Re: No BBQ

Yes, now returned to base, and also, apologies Clive.... the foul forecast also sent us scurrying back to base... which as it happens was probably sensible.... not only did we measure 23kts in the Orwell, but it thrashed it down from early hours Monday......

Next time!

Re: No BBQ

Hi Clive
Sorry to hear it didn't quite work out , when you didn't call I thought it was all going well and he who shall not be named had had a rough trip from Burnham so didn't fancy going any further .

As posted elsewhere , you couldn't exactly miss the boat though

Re: No BBQ

Himself set off this morning as we waved him away , did a 360 on a penny just to show me he could , then headed out , hit it rough all the way round then it got worse in the Thames estuary , but with good lady at the helm most of the way he made it in . Glad we didn't go out though , he was soaked when he arrived on sunday and it was worse on the return
