As I understood it the French only got the E at the end - we got the rest of it!
Ok, just because I was appointed a missionary in my youth to come east and educate the English! Unfortunately, you lot are so difficult I failed!Ah Concord! It got us mid channel Poole to Cherbourg. And also when I used to work I had a monthly morning meeting at Staines. We always stopped for coffee at 11.04am as they still had the afterburners on.
I have never understood why the Concord deviated down to the channel first. Would have been much more direct to fly stright over Cornwall.

They do not like our muddy waters I only ever saw them when approx 40 lmls offshoreI don't think it's deep enough for gannets off Maplin. They would risk burying their beaks in the mud and being stuck there until they fossilise. I've seen a few gannets pass by our coast, but only a few, unlike off Cork when we had the whole shooting-match doing their plunging act.
They do pass by occasionally. We saw some fly past from the shore at Shingle Street a couple of years ago, maybe a mile or so offshore. They do not like our muddy waters I only ever saw them when approx 40 lmls offshore
