Massive banging across the Thames estuary

Ah Concord! It got us mid channel Poole to Cherbourg. And also when I used to work I had a monthly morning meeting at Staines. We always stopped for coffee at 11.04am as they still had the afterburners on.

I have never understood why the Concord deviated down to the channel first. Would have been much more direct to fly stright over Cornwall.
Ok, just because I was appointed a missionary in my youth to come east and educate the English! Unfortunately, you lot are so difficult I failed! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I was expecting a quicker bite. I suppose I could say you are a carp Glads given the wait for the bite but that would be a lot of codswallop and the thread would be foundering around with no plaice to go and no sole. Ruddy hell. The bite was dangling there on a perch.

I suppose I ought to bail out with a picture of a Gudgeon:

On Capn Popeye astute observation I am reminded by the time there was an earthquake at Dudley (pronounced Dudleye) W. Mids. The local paper had headlines saying 'Earthquake strikes Dudley: £3 Million improvements'. Could be help for Kent if there is a REAL BANG.

Hi Sailorman,

I hope your recovery is proceeding well.

It seems I make more typos than you with less excuse than you. Texting in my previous post should, of course, be testing.

Peter.

I don't think it's deep enough for gannets off Maplin. They would risk burying their beaks in the mud and being stuck there until they fossilise. I've seen a few gannets pass by our coast, but only a few, unlike off Cork when we had the whole shooting-match doing their plunging act.
They do not like our muddy waters I only ever saw them when approx 40 lmls offshore
