Marking Lifejackets

I've been given a pile of lifejackets to mark up with name etc.

Is it OK to use a Sharpie permanent marker on the yellow bladder?

Is there a similar waterproof pen that will write on the black outer of the lifejacket?

I used a silver sharpie on the navy exterior of ours. We've not noticed any issues.

Tippex pen? Like the ones they use in the garage to write on the plastic parts of your car engine when they've changed the timing belt.

Grout refresher pens work moderately well on dark cloth

Felt-tip paint markers are available in different colours and thicknesses. Tippex is a good idea, and easier to find in the shops.
