Mariner 55ES Outboard

I have just purchased small fishing cruiser to get me started in boating. Boat came complete with Mariner 55ES outboard, but with no manuals or info. Can anybody let me know where a manual might be obtained or where I might find out any info about this engine.

Do you know what year the engine is. I've a little Mariner 20 which is actually a Yamaha thats been re badged. A few of the Mariner range were actually made by yamaha.
