Wondering if anyone can advise?
I own a Mariner 6e9 manual long but I'm trying to get it switched to electric. I have the chance of a 6e9 40 s electric for parts, my question is will I be able to just swap the parts over from the short shaft to my long shaft that I'll need to turn mine to electric start? I will still need the controls but thought it might be doable??? Any ideas please
Cheers John

Might be easier to swap the shafts over unless the mounting bracket is different. This assumes that the electric one works.
