Check out the price for their other marina's, it has to be the same.Beat me to it. I've also just seen the news! So that's why they have been so quiet. Great news for local boat owners and the town. I just hope the new owners don't price people like me out!
Thanks for that Chris, just gets better and better! We are not adjusting prices from current. We feel that we need to rehabilitate the harbour first and prove ourselves. We'll publish the programme of works soon. See: Watchet Marina | The Marine Group
Great news, for so many people! It must help the Watchet hospitality industry a little in the short term and more in the longer term, when people have something other than mud to look at in the harbour. I believe a healthy Watchet is good for other ports too. The more destinations you have the more people will use places like Portishead, Cardiff ect as their base. Great, especially for us slow sailors! HW, out of Cardiff, point vaguely south, LW plot a course for Watchet, anchor in Blue anchor bay if your too quick! HW, leave Watchet, point a bit west of north, LW plot a course for Swansea, unless you're really adventurous, then go for Burryport, anchor in Rossili if you make it around the point. If not, head for Oxwitch bay or port Eynon (sp?).

I thought Marine group had taken Burry over and got rid of the mud. Hopefully, both harbours will be sorted soon.Burry Port is also full of mud. Not the easiest of approaches or entry. Before you go anywhere near there I would speak to the harbour master. Far better to go to Tenby or Saundersfoot even if if you have to anchor off in my opinion.
