The add states the following

Warning

The cable entry point must NOT under any circumstances be submerged. The mounting thread and cable entry must be above the highest level of the liquid.
I just dont understand what it means! are they saying you can unscrew the mounting thread and draw in some of the cable?

But that one states the following

Two Independent Switching Points
Lower Float Make on Fall, and Upper Float Make on Rise
Meaning that the on off position is allready set. Or are you saying the tube extends? as I do see it stated in listing

But dose it telescope?

They dont acrually state that they are for wast tank usage. As our friend above stated that a lot of float switches are not suibable for waste

Just Google "lift station float switch." Very common, can't foul, easy to replace.

Sorry, yes they can foul, in more ways than one! Seriously having worked with sewage systems on ships with all sorts of indicators and sensors. I can categorically state that if it is in the tank it will foul, at some point. That applies to all types of sensor, even the so called solid state capacitive types. You can only start to imagine what a bit of wet bog roll can get up to when let loose! Not to mention the stuff that can "Grow" on them😵‍💫

I see a lot of DIY on this toilet; but I dont see any waste tanks to it
Suggest you look a bit more thoroughly. There are two waste tanks, one a wrap-around type, the other a custom HMWPE tank made by Tek-tanks. One of the photos in the latter group shows me shining a torch on the top surface, revealing the contents.
