Thanks for the explanation Brendan, I have no problems with empty berths being utilised when required, but for the fact that some one else is paying for said berth already. I hanly have a problem with the fact that some marinas then charge for that berth again without reimbursing the berth holder. Having said that, a few responses on here are stating that in fact, some marinas do reimburse the bertholder. The only problem I have, is with those that do not, effectively selling the same product twice to different persons and pocketing the profit.
