Re: Why this obsession with showering anyway?

You obviously have a more friendly working environment than I.

The cat and the computer. Hence the daydreams, I suppose!

Money grabber!!! You should be one month into your three month cruise by now, just like Claysie.

Re: Why this obsession with showering anyway?

Well, and so I should - in fact quite taken with the post for the mobo crew, but fact is, lack of money and exorbitant expenses (boat, house, children but in reverse order) prevent it. also a v expensive trip to Falklands, S Georgia and Antarctic in November to be paid for ... So, for this year, while new (old) boat being done up, and super hol in the offing, patience has to come first. Which is why I'm reading these messages - it's not ALL work tee hee and paid for it tee hee hee

A couple of years ago we were thinking of relocating to Haslar Marina, Gosport. The management showed us around the marina, pontoons etc, but took great pride in insisting we inspected their shower/loo blocks. They were justifiably proud of their pristine units. How many other marina operators have the same confidence I wonder. We ended up staying in Hythe, so I don't know if they are still as sparkling (perhaps they knew they had just been cleaned?)
