Going to be based in Marina Slumps for a few weeks.

Is there a launderette and internet cafe near by? Any good tavernas and restaurants?

One or two internet cafes along the main road. More down towards The glyfaddas. Best taverna along there, apart from the upmarket "Estiatorio" across from the petrol station is Vassilis, up one of the side streets with dining rooms on both sides of the street. He has put up plenty of signs so you will be able to find it. launderette in next street.

Vassillis - Agree, a must to do......although their new signs are brighter & colorful, there are less of them so not as easy (used to be like bread crumbs) to follow to the restaurant.
Shortcut thru charter company(think it was Kavas?) work yard (near public toilet) watch out when crossing light rail track - cross busy street at traffic light - then turn left for about 2 blocks - then right about 1/2 block ...same street as Pharmacy (green cross sign)

Internet - supposedly at the docks.....yeah right - only of You have a booster antenna. I did not and since I did not want to suffer 2nd hand smoke (not easy)
I avoided Cafes and just went to Marina office / Port Police building which is in the center of the marina near a large grassy area - near dock # 6-5 approx
There are tables/seats outside and even covered from thunderstorms or hot sun.

Overall, the marina seemed cleaner/better organized than 8+ years ago.....not counting the public toilet/showers

If this was directed at me, I don't know because I did not take my boat in May, I was on a charter.
