We usually head to Samos for check-in from Türkiye and then head west and south. This year we're planning to go north, and spend a month cruising around Lesvos and Chios before heading south towards Ikaria. I've never been to either so it will all be new to me. The plan is to go north along the Turkish coast and check out in Çeşme around 08 May. Then we'll head to Mytiline on Lesvos for check-in and spend a few days in the marina there for provisioning etc (free berthing included in my Setur Kuşadası contract). After that the plan is the go around the island anticlockwise, then head south to the north coast of Chios and cruise the west and south coast ending in Chios Town where my wife will leave for a few weeks. I'll singlehand around Ikaria, Fournoi and Samos while she's away, because I know the islands quite well.
So if anyone has advice about Lesvos and/or Chios, good anchorages or small ports for overnights etc. I'd love to hear it. We'll probably hire a car for a day or two on each island but I'm not much of a fan of history/archaeology and heaps of old stones so I'd love to hear about other interesting stuff away from the coasts.
