Neap tide is ideal for Bradwell & walk the dog to the Green ManI don't dispute it's beautiful, but you can't deny it's shallow.

Im sure they have Duval in The Green Man :encouragement:Oh, the Blackwater doesn't change much. Admittedly picking your way in from the Wallet requires some thought on a deep draught yacht but the racers here in Mersea seem to manage. Go on, give us a go..........

I'll second that!Priory spit has given me some of the most unpleasant conditions when returning from the North to the Blackwater....
Oh I didn't say it wasn't shallow, it's just not THAT shallow!
