I go sailing to relax.
It's not so much the shallowness that bothers me, but the shallowness that moves (as sand/mud banks tend to do).
Constantly watching the echosounder - butt cheeks firmly clenched - isn't really my cup of tea.

Oh, the Blackwater doesn't change much. Admittedly picking your way in from the Wallet requires some thought on a deep draught yacht but the racers here in Mersea seem to manage. Go on, give us a go..........
