During a wander along the exposed moorings at Shaldon/Teignmouth today, among the several rather tidy boats dried out on the gravel were a couple which would have given any insurer an unpleasant shock -
The hefty MacGregor 26 'Moonshine' was secured by a tatty and frayed single line, which appeared to be down to just two strands here and there....
Just a few yards away, another nice wee boat is well-secured to its mooring chain....
....which is about to give up the ghost and part!
