Malta fuel prices

Anyone know what the fuel prices will do in Malta after they join the European Corruption? Question is, do I go north about Sicily or south around and fill up on duty free?

I'm moving from Greece to the UK later this year, and am having difficulty finding the present diesel costs. Do you know what the present prices are around the Med, and along the N. African coast?
Anyone know where I can find them?
