Hi,
I'm planning on moving my sailing yacht to Mallorca in March. I plan to leave it there for at least a year and so I am looking for a marina berth. The boat is an MG335; length 10.59m; beam 3.43m. Any recommendations for a marina and what sort of prices are annual berthing fees?
Thanks for any thoughts
Bruce

Getting a marina berth might be your first consideration. Balearics are very popular and therefore fees range from expensive to eye-watering.

Mind you if you are moving from Italy you might not bother about the annual fees that much ;)

Thanks Ink. Getting a marina berth is indeed what I am trying to sort but it would be helpful to know in broad terms what 'expensive' and 'eye-watering' is. I pay over £5K here in the UK. How does that stack up against the Balearics or mainland Spain? Any real-world experience appreciated.

Double it and add possibly 10%, to give you a vague idea. Moorings for rent, Majorca (Mooring) - iNautia

Don't know about long term but the least expensive marina I used in Mallorca was €125/night for 14m in the charter marina. This in only available Sun- Thur as the changeover day for charters is Saturday.
Only used two marinas in my 5 week visit as there was generally no availability in August.

You'd be better off on the mainland. Altea is great and an easy day sail to Ibiza.
