Whitehaven entrance today. It was pretty much like that when we arrived from Liverpool on Wednesday and should be pretty much like that when we leave for Bangor, NI tomorrow. Don't suppose the smug feeling will last too long though.
Hoping for good dolphin spotting around the south of the Isle of Man tomorrow. It is glorious at the mo.
I’ve lost count of how many lovely med photos I’ve seen whilst sat looking out the window and wind and rain. Normal service will resume soon I’m sure.

I certainly hope so! Also sat in our apartment in Altea, blowing a hoolie, heavy rain and extremely misty. And it’s forecast to stay like this until the middle of next week!

We had a couple of very badly damaged yachts turn up in Sant Carles over night.

Same forecast for SoF. Luckily I looked at it a couple of days ago and delayed our flight out until Tuesday. Lovely here in England. I've been sitting in the garden in shorts today and have invited friends for a BBQ on Monday
Tough life being a Med boater eh?

In marina. 2 berths from the end. Not moving.
Leave 5th May as apparently they are full.
There was one boat that left of ibiza 3 days ago. Guy from boats.co.uk told them they were mad. They returned in 15 minutes. Do people not check the weather !

Well the weather in mallorca is still poor, it's been overcast and v windy (~40mph) for the last 3 days, the wind is now weakening a little, but it's still Relatively cold and overcast. I'll probably take the boat out for an hour or two just to run the engine at load and act as a pre season test run, but I'm back to the UK tonight, just in time for it to start raining in the UK I think.

Without wishing to stray into the area of climate change, we have noticed a pattern in the last few years of lousy weather in the Med during Spring accompanied by settled weather in the UK. We always book Easter week off to go to the boat in the Med but more often than not we have delayed going like this year or cut short our trip like last year or even cancelled altogether as we have done in previous years. It seems these days that Med weather doesnt settle down until its well into May and conversely in the UK, the rest of the summer is often a washout from then
