Why not use a Breadmaker?

You'd need quite a small inverter for a small bread maker (and maybe the motor running for a short while depending on the size of your battery bank)

Because if the OP has an alcohol stove his boat is probably smaller rather than larger, and any use of 12V on a small boat to make heat is a non-starter because of limited electricity generation capability.
