Although tied up in a marina it’s a worry when the weather turns bad, here in Galicia we have it seems endless Atlantic lows passing carrying lots of rain.I can picture the boat in its berth and mentally examin every rope attaching the boat to the pontoon. The riasbajasare open to the south west although the Ria de Vigo is sheltered by the Cíes islands and. Can picture the ria and can imagine the slight protection as the bay curves to the north giving some shelter. In these days of internet I know exactly what the wind is doing and apparently it’s improving over the course of the night…….and there is a marina watchman keeping an eye on things….so I hopefully can sleep soundly………..it’s now 1am. and the wind has stopped howling
