Looking for JVfax download for win xp

I was just setting up my laptop and want now to install JVfax.The forum search isent working just now,and when i searched i got JVfax for win 95, which i have, but i dont want to use my old laptop anymore as its to big and dosent have USB!

The persival site dosent say what OS i need nor how to download,then there are others butwhich??

Which JVfax do i need for win XP and from where can i download it please

But thats where it said only for win 95? Hear:



* running Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0.
* at lease 32MB of RAM, better 64
* 586 (pentium) or similar processor at 166 MHz as a minimum
* high- or true colour graphics with at least 800x600 resolution
* a standard 16 bit sound card or better, or a serial port to connect to an external interface

I've used that download on Windows 2000 without any problem so XP should be fine as well.

Hi Trouville mon ami,

Just Google for JVComm32. From the many sites offered choose that from Persivell (usually on the first page).

Scroll down to near the bottom and you will see the 'trial' version 1.40 which is excellent and is desiogned to work with XP. It does and is the version I've been using for a long time now.

Thats what i did before i left my fast conection as Talbot recomended it i was sure it ought to be the site!all downloaded.

I did it with hope it was the one that would work,In which case it was lucky i did then!

Now i have to set it up probably tommorow! I hope it wont be to difficult!I wont have the whole day!

I always thought life on the water was supposed to be taken at the pace chosen by the skipper??Things have changed!!
