looking for Amerian oven

We are currently moored in the UK (Brighton but will soon be going to Cornwall). We had recent gas saftey check and our oven has been written off. Our boat is Canadian built Sparkman & Stephens 38 and we are desperate to get hold of a new oven to fit gap dimensions (American) 600mm wide, we have been quoted £1400 for an imported oven.

We are trying to get started on our round the world trip which we are undertaking on a tight budget and desperately need to find a way to get hold of a cheaper oven. Any suggestions on how we can achieve this most welcome. We have tried searching the net but are not even sure what to look for!

Try www.westmarine.com. They have a number of ovens (ranges in US) varying in width from about 500 to 560mm and priced from $1100 to $1800 (approx 730 to 1200 quid before tax and shipping).
