Re: Corvette 32 For Sale?

Forumrules include the following clause:

3.2 Subject to Clause 3.1, you can place an advertisement on the Buying and Selling section of the Forum free of charge for items up to the value of £200 and you can place as many items as you like on the Buying and Selling section of the Forum as long as each item does not exceed the £200 limit.

Isn't £ 100k just a teansy weany bit over this £200 limit?!

Re: Corvette 32 For Sale?

Claire's not a bloke. She's a very nice girlie type! (She's lovely and helpful, did a lot of the behind the scenes organisation for last years Mercury meet)

Besides, the forums are here for everyone to be helpful, and if they are looking for a particular boat, this forum is on their doorstep so to speak, and makes sense to use it. You could trawl internet sites and brokers for ages and not find a particular make/model. Makes sense to ask here?

Re: Corvette 32 For Sale?

rephrase it how? It's quite clear. Boat test editor is looking for a particular boat, with obviously quite clear specs. Claire works for the magazine, so it's quite reasonable to request help here.

Re: Corvette 32 For Sale?

Think its all abit tounge in cheek. Coz if you look at it in the real world, you've got Dom punting tankerfulls of Solly, then theres Suncoast touting for business on the money making sea skool lark. Then theres the purveyor of all things gadgetery Milltech. Who else.........dunno off the top of my head, but theres a bunch of blokes selling their wares here all the time and not a murmur from the powers that be or from anyone else.
I mean. You never hear me saying that I make boat covers, or upholster seats and panels or even that I can supply screens and blinds for hatches and port lights. Cos IF I did tout my business here you can guarantee that it would be picked up straight away and pulled........wouldn't it!

Re: Corvette 32 For Sale?

loads more - StephenSails, Webcraft etc

Was amazed at how many times Clive managed to get his company stand number into threads before and during london boatshow

Do you really do boat covers, upholster seats and panels and even supply screens and blinds for hatches and port lights. Cos if you do, you need a website, which one of the many developers who advertise here can supply, and then you can put the website in your tagline and mention it frequently!!

Re: Corvette 32 For Sale?

Hi Carl

I like these boats as well, but don't expect any help from the makers, to track one down, unless you are capable of interpreting various grunts and shrugs, by way of communication!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coz that's all I got at L.I.B.S!!

If and when you find one can I come for a spin as well????

Claire Frew!

Not Carl! <g> You lot are hopeless. Can't tell a nice lady from a bloke even when at close range.

Think YBW should organise eyesight tests, and take commission on the spectacles prescribed.

Where in the the profile for cfrew is there a mention of said person being a Lady???? I thought it was a username for Carl, hence the response.

Re: Corvette 32 For Sale?

Uhhm! Just a general knowledge thing. But I did post earlier in thread that is was Claire, and she was well known to forumites who went to Mercury meet as she demanded monies with menaces /forums/images/icons/wink.gif from many when she worked for ybw rather than her present position.
