She is a privately owned superyacht that is visiting Jersey over the next couple of days.
At 55 metres long it is hard to miss DB9.
With rooms for eight guests and five crew and a whirlpool Jacuzzi, the marine monster takes travelling in style to a whole new level.
The DB9 does a top speed of 30 knots.
And if you've got a taste for the finer things in life... She's available for charter for $105,000 a week..!
Hi Thought I might as well reply here too... (same as)
This is one of the most impressive boats I've seen on the south coast. We came up from Lymington yesterday evening as this boat, registered in George Town came back up to Southampton.
We came alongside (and I mean alongside ) it while it was cruising at 32.5 knots SOG.
(Courtesy of twin MTU4000 Hp engines) The bow wave is exactly the same a a destroyer and the wall of wake is like the biggest you can imagine. You can see it easily from half a mile ahead.
We're not anoraks but we were that impressed we had to find out what it was later and found the details on the PJ website.
I hope 'Yankee1' reads this as he was on board 'Houston' with me and took a load of pictures as we escorted her for a while.
The guys on board weren't too sociable though, must have been raggies as they didn't wave back.
Anyway the boat's really impressive and would look good with a gun on the bow and a white ensign on the stern.
We turned off earlier and left it behind on our way back up to our new base at Hythe marina village (nice place and worth a visit) and later on it followed us up the water.
