If it IS going to moor to the shore, near the town, expect a tsunami in Vlikho bay then. My tranquil barbecue spot ruined!
Cruise ships used to go into the New Port at Gaios several years ago. That got stopped due to the massive wash it set up.

Ah! on the old "Christina" mooring location, before the new location between Skorpios and Skorpidi was developed, although the space between the buoy and the bitts on Skorpios won't be large enough, surely?

It was anchored in the triangle formed by Sparti ,Madhouri and the Skorpidi if I have the name correct but no not where the Christina mooring used to be ,I think the Russian guy has had that removed .

Quite likely. Ekatarina intends to turn the islands into a wealthy persons' holiday retreat and playground in the Branson style but better!

Nidri does seem busier today. Mind you the weather's a lot better - a thunderstorm yesterday afternoon removed part of IBA's pontoon. They're still fixing it now.
