Look what turned up this morning !

It looks very shiny B1 and a nice clean bottom:)

They didn't seriously drive it all the way from Plymouth with the back canopy and anchor in position though did they? I'd have gone ape****

Never occurred to me until you mentioned it !

Not to worry , can't have been as bad as a Force 6 :D and no harm done as far as i could see.

Maybe I'm being a bit fussy but I used to tow a 25footer around and have bent canopy poles, retrieved things that have bounced out of the cockpit and seen another boat where the anchor rattled off:eek: Good tight fitting canopies will hang on in there but not many are designed for 50kts+ a good transport company would have removed anything like that, think you were lucky, did hear about a Birchwood 25 that lost its hardtop on the back of a tralier, obviously slightly exceeding its design speed:)

The whole thing about leaving other people to do everything because of distance etc has been a new experience for me. I suppose, ultimately, I relied on people to do the job satisfactorily and insurance was in place if anything did go wrong.

Congratulations - sorry to miss your call yesterday, life is a bit busy. Again. Will you be out on her this weekend?

SW Boat Transport are one of the best companies out there, I've used them loads and been very happy every time.

Glad all went well; great looking boat. All you need now is a Gurnsey sweater, a Breton cap and a pipe! Hows the beard coming on? (lol) Just joking. Hope you have a great time aboard whenever/wherever you get afloat.

I've been following the other post with interest - better than 'Corrie'!
