Logs (Speed / Depth)

NASA Target Range speed log - stopped working - boat's out of water now so took log out of the skin fitting & find only 1 little magnet in blade of paddle wheel - shouldn't there be 2 ? and can you buy a replacement wheel & is it easy to fit said new paddle wheel ? - Paddle wheel unit is fairly solid "plastic" and won't allow me to remove the wheel.
Any & all advice gratefully received

There was an article in one of the "other" magazines recently about this very thing fitted to a Nasa Clipper log (loss of magnets), the paddle wheel can be bought seperate and there should be a pin driven through the sensor holding the wheel. Contact Nasa who will be able to help.
