Thought you had mispelt Lagos, sorry! I think they can be put on later, in fact I think they are put on after its made, if it's printed on. Maybe sewn into the actual fabric?

Quantum Sails of South Africa seem to screen print it on. which would be the best option. A patch sewn on would alter the sail's weight and performance, if it were big.

BRANDING
Should you require branding, please provide Quantum Sails with your logo via email (in high resolution format / saved as a *.TIF file). We will then organise to have the logo screen printed onto your sails.

I expect every decent sailmaker does the same

I've just had a quote for similar.

Seems, IF I understand it correctly, getting a logo stitched in to the build is cheaper than getting it stuck on during the build.

Doesn'T make sense to me and maybe the Rioja confused the conversation!!!!

Anyway the story was that one way was very cheap and would add very little to the cost, while the other would probably double the cost of a plain spinnaker.

Makes sense to you???

Me neither, so assuming that an after sale application has the same parameters for costing then do enquire as to "stitched or stuck" /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Sticking a logo on doesn't really work as the sail creases and the sticker is often too thick and hence comes loose.

2 Options widely used:

1) Cut a logo in - can be retro fitted to a kite but quite expensive.
2) Ink - logo's can be inked onto sail cloth

Advantage of the first one - looks great from both sides of the sail (second option doesn't look as good from the reverse side)
