Hello all,
The LCD display windows on my (old) log and echolot have suffered from the environment. The plastic screen is a bit yellowed and the surface is ruffed up a bit, making them hard to read.
But, when they are wet I can see the numbers better, because the water surface is smooth.
So.... I had a bright idea of coating them with something since when I was studying someone sprayed paint over the display of my calculator, after I scratched the paint off the display was scratched and unreadable so I thought I'd make it smooth again by painting a thin cover of superglue over it - and it worked.
But I'm a bit loathe to try it on my log and lot which at least are now working...
Has anyone any advice/suggestions?
The screen is polarised isn't it?
Thanks
Leigh
