Anyone happen to know the pitching centres for the securing bolts please?
Made a trip home to produce a backing plate but forgot to bring the top with me.

I've searched every Airon reference with keywords including template but found nothing.
I made one backing plate out of HDPE as Lofrans caution against using stainless but it was too thick. I made the mistake of beefing up my foredeck with an extra layer of plywood below the original. It is now mush!
I will use a stainless plate but insulate if from the casting. I can drill the shaft hole in the factory and leave the bolt holes for the cordless drill when I can size the studs.
I do have a cardboard template but it is too imprecise. Access has to be from inside the chain locker. Even though I am thin, I have drawn blood on my chest!

Everything but! From memory (for the plastic one) the pitch was around 67mm. I expected a round number.

Don't know where 67 came from!
After averaging numerous measurements, I opted for a p.c.d. of 90mm.
The plate fits.
