Can anyone tell me where I can get some locking hatches.

I am changing the seat on my RIB and want to use the space under the seat for storage but I want to be able to lock the access.

Need hatches about 380mm square (or thereabouts) with locks.

I know an option is to buy normal no lock hatches and add a form of lock but it would be neater if the lock was combined.

Only place I've found advertising the things has spent nearly two months waiting for a supply, so I've cancelled my order.

Anything at SIBS?

Thanks

I would strongly recommend talking to SeaTeach (after the show). They have a larger range than anyone else, and expect that what you are after isa locking version of :

can't make out the details in the black - is that a bomar or similar?

i need something of the sort but the plastic ones i have seen so far have a recessed groove which will collect water when used horizontally - does anyone know of something which will keep the contents dry?

Picture was I think of a bowmar engine hatch. All these hatches have a similar construction to allow flush fitting as a hatch to be walked on, and thus there will be a minor amount of water in the gap between hatch and surrounding flange. This will only enter compartment when hatch is raised!
