You've got a lot more hair than when I last saw you. Have the barbers been closed in France for a long time?
 
And can I ask a rather rude question? Your boat seems to be flying the French Tricolor not the Red Duster. I'm quite shocked at that given your views on foreigners. Have you gone native? You'll be telling us soon you topped your Big Mac with foie gras :D

The answer is simple, she is a French boat that we bought in France while we were living in France. I suppose that is why it’s called the Tricolore

The police. When you leave your house you fill in an attestation. This states your activity and the time you left. The police can check anytime. You are given three hours so I call it one hour from front door till the boat is in deep water (although I can do it in half an hour). So one hour on the water and one hour back to the berth, tie etc and home.
Tomorrow there is no more time limit (as long as the covid doesn’t flare up again) but there is a curfew from 8pm till 6am. Unfortunately there are no restaurants (only takeaways) until January 20th.
The curfew is lifted for Christmas Eve but not for New Years Eve

we also have to either send a text message, or fill in a form (downloadable from the internet which you print)
so, what I do is fill in a form when I'm leaving home, go to the boat (not allowed to move it btw!) do whatever and 3-4h later send an SMS and go home :cool:
or simply fill in another form with different departing time :)

I don’t break the law. Remember, on January 1st I will be stateless so I can’t afford to have a criminal record
