Excellent!!

That brought the memories of Grafham Water, late 1980's flooding back. (sorry for the pun!)

Howard & I would take it in turns as to who would helm and who would crew. We both had 470s but the SWiMBOs of the day had lost interest (the presence of kids had something to do with it) so Howard & I raced each other's boats.

Just amazing, we got SO wet and had such great fun.

Anyone know what the music is - equally great! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Guess who's just got a Solo to go with his Laser Hee Hee. You just can't do that sort of stuff in a cruiser! But even a Mirror will plane given enough breeze - problem comes with breakages!

Only thing to beat it is white water canoeing in a low buoyancy kayak.

Searush

I've sailed Lasers, 420s, 470s, Fireballs, Mirrors, a Miracle, a Pico and many, many more. I've sailed yachts & cruisers and we're about to take delivery of a brand new Bav 30 - BUT I STILL LOVE TO GET MY ARSE WET !!!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I'm the wrong side of fifty, but nothing beats a dinghy when the wind is blowing, especially if you can fly three sails!!

As my then SWiMBO used to say "Did you have a swim? - No - Oh, not much of a sail then?"
