I count myself fortunate. If my start battery were to be dead, I’d use the pull start cord.

I bought the Autowit SuperCap 2 Lite Jump Starter. First you need to understand there is no battery inside that needs to charged up. So it can sit in your car or boat unattended. It works on the super capacitor technology.
There are just large capacitors and a control circuit that allows you to start the engine. I have used on numerous cars and boats. It has never failed. Don't be put off by the small size and never having to ensure it iis charged as a battery starter module would have to be.
