hi guys need some help. i have a lister petter ac1 series 2 with a som italian marine gearbox fitted. i need a solid coupling however most of the marineshops are unsure what i am looking for. as soon as i mention 2 bolts coupling to box and 2 bolts to shaft they are stumped any one have a picture of, or better still a part number, i do have the flexible coupling but need the solid type to. thanks garry
 
Have a look at the chaft couplings on the R and D Marine website.

If those boys don't have one, you'll have to sketch one up and get an engineering shop to do it.

That sounds to me like a Metalastik coupling, don't think they are made anymore. They were also used on Enfield stern drives, it might be worth a call to Bob Knowles.
R & D make a 2 bolt coupling that is fits onto.
