Apart from the different colour scheme I wonder what the special edition SC35 will have that makes it special.....

There was a picture of it on the inside back cover of last months MBM and I noticed that it was lacking a bow thruster, I wonder if this means that it is going to have pods?

I doubt it.

More expense for less efficiency - even manoeuvring is not improved as you can now have independent outdrives with joystick. Plus the hull isn't right for pods.

More likely it will be new/plusher colours, fabrics, a few thrown in options and a special edition badge.

Bit like a fiesta....

they are using a system that is used on what I call normal out drive legs, or Z drives as some call them and they can be linked to a joy stick, same kind of software as the IPS. They move independently and give the same results, and they do not need the specifically designed hull shape. I have played with a few and they work well.

Depends which pods they use.
If they use ZF aft looking version you need to make only the requested tunnels.
For Volvo IPS you need a Vee modification of hull from midship to aft.

Reality is that for the US market in this size stern drive are not attractive for the high profile buyer. Having now Sealine a US owner it might well be in the cards.

Er, that is exactly what I said...

Even with sterndrives and a joystick, I would prefer a bowthruster, ...............and delete the joystick option, save circa £15k and a lot of software upgrades in the future.

I'm sure the LE will be carpets and curtains, a bit like cars as others have posted.

I used to love the stickers on Fiestas which proclaimed "the Fiesta touch", that certain je ne sais quoi that sets Fiesta drivers apart from drivers of other more mundane cars like ... err ..... err .....

Can we expect to see "the SC35 touch" stickers any time soon?
