We're thinking of leaving Harwich on 21st July for a trip to Limehouse.

If anyone else is interested we'd be pleased to have company.

Enjoyed last year's trip and it would be great to do it again.

Now that I have a bigger boat with more creature comforts, SWMBO says she would like to join as well.

Haven't yet made a booking. I was thinking of doing it nearer the time and when we had a better idea on weather and firmed up on numbers.

Having said that, do you think it would be a good idea to do it now?

Hi - coincidentally I am looking at doing similar in August but ideally over 4 days. I have never done it before but looking at your and other posts Queensborough looks a popular half way point. Presumably you then take the flood the following day and ideally make one of the marinas. I believe it is not possible to leave the marinas at LW and wondered if from experience if there is enough of the ebb to get back to the estuary entrance(probably I presume Queensborough again).
Initial research shows up St Kats and Limehouse as 2 obvious marinas and wondered if there were any pros or cons ? Any other advice gratefully received as have never sailed in the Thames river before.

Suggest you book soon. I tried to get in there a few weeks ago and they were full. With St Kats not taking any visitor booking until at least September while they are refurbishing the centre basin Limehouse are getting many more bookings.
