Anybody know where I can get a new set of brushes - at a sensible price, for the lift motor of my 280 drive?

I've often been able to modify brushes to suit the motor. They are easy to cut with a small hacksaw then file to precise size. Take your motor to any local company that repairs motors and I'd be surprised if they can't sort you out.
