I have a old avon 4 man liferaft that I got with the boat,its no good to me so was going to sell it but no idea how much its worth,its orange and has been serviced but dont no how long ago any ideas much appreciated.

My 4 man Avon in white casing came with the boat. It had not been serviced since purchase I believe
1985, but that was cos the previous owner never went off the river. Had it serviced in Dec 2000
cost £300 plus. Could'nt tell you their worth best to wait for Byron to read your post, hes pretty
good at valuations.

Bluntly its worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. If it has a current certificate stick it on EBAY UK with details and a reserve of say £150 and see what happens, if not bung it on the for sale forum at £200 and also on www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk where you can also include a photo. I believe the Cruising Association also have a for sale column. These a damned expensive things to buy but tend to be hard to sell second hand.
