Fair enough I suppose if you have to clear up after a fatality.

Just another manifestation of the nannyism that bedevils this country. Like the weather forecasters telling us to carry an umbrella or to put the greenhouse heater on.

I'm sure these people mean well but, like nanny, they think we are not really capable of looking after ourselves.

No, I used to get mine from Thomas Foulkes, ex WD surplus Mae Wests, had "F/O Kite" stencilled on the back.

If, after a gale warning, they said 'Fasten on!' it would be a much more sensible suggestion, Ljs would not be a great deal of help if you went in, anyway.

That is if they feel compelled to give advice!

Having reuested (on here and elsewhere) more detailed information in the weather forecasts in the MSI broadcasts, and been told firmly that there is no time available to give more detail, it's pretty galling to now find they have time to do this nonsense.
